Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti is a 2020 Indian Bengali drama film, directed by Aritra Mukherjee and produced by Windows Production. It stars Ritabhari Chakraborty, Soham Majumdar, Soma Chakraborty, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Manasi Sinha, and Subhasish Mukherjee. The story of the film follows Shabari (played by Ritabhari Chakraborty) who is a priest’s daughter and a lecturer of Sanskrit. Under influence of her father’s work, she too have a secret desire to perform rituals.
The film was released on 6 March 2020.
Synopsis
Shabari (Ritabhari) is a lecturer and performing artist while simultaneously being in another profession. When she lets her fiancé into her multiple identities, he is taken aback and reacts unwelcomingly. This dramatic comedy unwraps the stark differences of our worlds in a combination of outdated rituals, rites, and gender imbalance.
