The Marine 6: Close Quarters is a 2018 American action film produced by WWE Studios. It is the sixth and final installment of The Marine series. Mike “The Miz” Mizanin returned to star in the series for the fourth time, alongside fellow WWE wrestlers Shawn Michaels and Becky Lynch.

Plot

Former marines Jake Carter and Luke Trapper have a sparring session in a gym. Meanwhile in a park, young girl Sarah Dillon listens to a radio broadcast talking about a court case involving crime family boss Horace Hayes while going on a run. Suddenly, Sarah later gets confronted by Maddy Hayes and her brother Oscar at a crossroads. Sarah flees, but eventually gets caught. Maddy calls Sarah’s father, Patrick, a juror on Horace’s trial, and she threatens to kill Sarah, if Patrick doesn’t force a mistrial on Horace. Maddy then kidnaps Sarah to use her as leverage.

Jake and Luke later meet up with a man named Graham at a disused brewery. They walk about and knock on the door of a veteran named Tommy, who shuts them out. They suddenly hear a scream and they locate the room where it came from. Jake busts into the room to see Maddy and her henchmen holding Sarah hostage. Graham wanders in and draws out a pistol after witnessing the situation. Maddy then kills Graham, causing Jake and Luke to fight the henchmen. They defeat them and bar themselves into a small room. Jake promises Sarah that he and Luke will get her to safely. Meanwhile at a courtroom, a lawyer presents proof of Horace’s guilt. An uncomfortable Patrick goes to the restrooms and vomits. He later leaves the restroom and follows fellow juror Ben to a deliberation room to continue Horace’s case, with a henchman overseeing him.

Reinforcements arrive at the brewery, and Sarah explains the situation to Jake and Luke. Luke then barges through a weak wall into a grain room where he and Jake get into a fight with some more henchmen. Maddy orders one of her henchman, Shawn, to lock down the room. Jake, Luke and Sarah then crawl down a vent leading into a grain silo, with Luke getting injured upon entering the silo. Jake and Luke get into another fight with some henchmen led by Oscar, and they defeat them. Luke and Jake then arm themselves and encounter Tommy who helps Jake close Luke’s wound. Maddy enters the room as the henchmen recover, and orders Shawn and the henchmen to kill Jake and Luke. Tommy then leads Jake, Luke and Sarah into a storeroom, and they engage more henchmen. Jake, Luke and Tommy defeat the henchmen in a scrapyard, with Tommy dying in the aftermath. Maddy confronts and tells Shawn to call Kat, the henchman overlooking Patrick, to make sure she’s waiting in the tunnels for them. Back in the courthouse, Ben points out to Patrick that the evidence pointing towards Horace’s guilt is all clear. Patrick understands this, but he refuses to declare Horace as guilty.

Jake, Luke and Sarah confront Kat in the tunnels and they are encountered by Oscar, who Jake successfully kills. Luke sees Sarah get taken by Maddy, and knocks Kat unconscious. Jake and Luke arm themselves with assault rifles, and are eventually pinned down by Shawn and some more henchmen. Jake is shot and fatally wounded in the chaos. Trusting Luke to rescue Sarah, Jake sacrifices himself by running toward the henchmen, killing as many as he can, taking many hits. Maddy bids Jake farewell and throws a knife into his heart, killing him. Luke follows Maddy and her remaining men outside towards a boat. Maddy learns that the mistrial has been confirmed, which then makes Sarah a loose end. Luke headshots Shawn, and kills the remaining henchmen. Luke then sprints towards the boat, and successfully jumps onboard. He confronts Maddy and they engage in hand-to-hand combat. The fight gets taken back to the lower deck, and Luke manages tie Maddy up in a rope connected to an anchor. He then throws her overboard into the water. The anchor splashes into the water, submerging and drowning Maddy. Police and paramedics show up and Sarah reunites with Patrick. Luke says his final goodbyes to Jake and his corpse is escorted away by paramedics. The film ends with a tribute to Jake Carter, showing everything he did throughout the franchise.
