Boxer (Bengali: বক্সার) is an Indian Bengali sports drama romantic film directed by Sanjoy Bardhan. Boxer is based on a young boxer based in Kolkata. The film stars debutante Shikhar Srivastava -Ena Saha in the lead roles and the film produced by Koushik K Roy, also known as Roy Koushik. Film music was released through SVF Music. It was heavily inspired of 2016 Bollywood Film Do Lafzon Ki Kahani which itself based on 2011 South Korean Film Always.
Plot
Story of an 18 years old young boxer, Ronny who has achieved the license to life but there are many hurdles to cross, there may have mistakes or the road of no return but the Boxer have to move on. In this film boxing ring is a metaphor for Ronny. Here fight is not for the violence but to feel the tolerance of life. Here every pain and wounds are not for the trophy but to learn the lesson of life from his first love, Jinia. A beautiful portrayal of the characters played by Soumitra Chatterjee, Laboni Sarkar and Rajatava Dutta. Shikhar Srivastava and Ena Saha aptly played their lead roles
